Welcome to TagGlo ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the TagGlo mobile application (the "App").

TagGlo is an AI-powered YouTube tag generator that helps content creators optimize their video tags for better discoverability. The App uses YouTube's free autocomplete API and local caching to generate relevant tags.

2 Data We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect:

Email Address: For account identification and communication
Display Name: For personalization within the app
Profile Picture URL: If signed in via Google (optional display only)

2.2 Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the app:

Search Keywords: Cached anonymously to improve tag suggestions for all users
Firebase Analytics: Anonymous app usage patterns (screens viewed, features used)

3 Data We Do NOT Collect

No YouTube Account Data: We never access your YouTube channel or videos
No Location Data: We do not access your GPS or location
No Contacts: We do not access your contacts or phone data
No Camera/Microphone: We do not access your camera or microphone

4 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • Authentication: Managed by Supabase (built on PostgreSQL) with encrypted connections
  • Local Cache: Search history and tag cache stored locally on your device using Hive encrypted storage
  • Cloud Data: Only anonymous search keywords are cached in our cloud database to improve suggestions
  • No Data Selling: We never sell or share your data with third parties

5 Third-Party Services

TagGlo uses the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In

Used for authentication. Only basic profile info (name, email) is accessed. Google Privacy Policy

Google AdMob

Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. Google Privacy Policy

Firebase Analytics

Used for anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. Firebase Privacy

Supabase

Used for authentication and cloud database. Supabase Privacy Policy

YouTube Autocomplete API

Used to fetch tag suggestions. Only search keywords are sent, no personal data. This is a free public API.

6 Advertising

TagGlo displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads help us keep the app free for all users. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings:

  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization

7 Children's Privacy

TagGlo is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8 Data Deletion

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. All your data will be completely removed from our servers within 30 days.
